Can you believe that March is almost over? It means that we’re getting closer to Prom time! In my country, we usually celebrate it around May.. But I heard from some of my friends who studied abroad, they celebrate it around April or even June.. Another culture difference is prom-date.. We don’t really have the habit to ask the opposite gender to be our prom-date, we just dressed up and just go to our school (or where the prom is held), which I think it’s a good thing for all single boys and girls.. 😛
How about your country? Any unique stories?
The culture maybe different, but I believe the excitement is the same no matter where you live.. And girls, we all have one thing in common when it comes to Prom.. What should I wear to own the night??
In this blog post, I will give you some tips on “How to Choose Your Prom Dress”
Searching & Budgeting. First thing first, you have to search as much dresses as possible.. The internet is massive now, you can try Aislestyle.co.uk, they have tons of designs there.. Narrow those down to 2-3 designs that you like, for example long/short dress, body fit/ ball gown type, etc.. Remember to stick with your budget.
Try it on. This step is optional.. If you have the time, you can go to stores to try those designs, see which one fits your body type the most, what color matches your skin tone..
Decision. After you find the IT dress, all you have to do is purchase it.. Look at your budget and decide where do you want to buy your dress, whether at the offline store (from high-end brands to vintage store) or online.. If you open the link above, you can see that AisleStyle offers customized cheap prom dresses.. So I recommend you to check them out before you buy it somewhere else..
Last tips from me, don’t stressed out but have fun! At the end of the day, prom is a celebration so enjoy the process and make good happy memories because it only happens once.. 😉
