There’s a certain time in your life where things didn’t work out as you planned and it is our own choice to whether cry in the corner of our bedroom and give up or try to clear our head, stand up and make new plans.. As a matter of fact, a disappointing result just hit me this month, when I was on my short getaway to Singapore.. I was devastated, yes.. Became blank for awhile.. Thank God I was with my best friend at that time..
I went back to Jakarta, I still couldn’t get my head out of it, plus I have this strange strong feeling that keeps telling me to make major changes.. The truth is, I was born and raised in the big city yet I haven’t found what I’m looking for.. I quit my full-time job last month and this news came out.. All of these got me thinking, OK, maybe this is the way of getting my life question answered.. Maybe it is a time for me to leave my comfort zone..
After a not-so-easy discussion with my mom, I finally decided to listen to my heart and take the leap of faith and MOVE TO BALI.. I already bought my one way ticket and I’m going to move next week.. I waited for everything to be settled first before I share the news with you.. I know it’s so sudden but the thoughts of waking up and doing my daily life there really excite me.. Some of you may think this is a reckless decision, and that’s why I’m going to explain a little bit more about my plan..
I’m going to stay and work in Ubud area, do some projects which I can’t reveal to you yet because it’s still an on-going plan.. So no worries, I won’t be jobless..
Besides that, I will enjoy my life, explore the island more with my cameras and bikinis, maybe learn how to ride a motorcycle and become super tanned..
I have no idea about what will happen in the future but I am ready.. Ready to take the risks rather than holding on to some predictable routines in my hometown, Jakarta.. And I have a pretty good feeling because I know I’m moving towards something completely different, something new, and hopefully can create a better life..
