Style,

3 Ways to Wear Brown Coat

cover

Autumn is here and I’m very very excited! Because to be honest eventho I’m a tropical girl and summer is more likely my season, Autumn is always my favourite, seeing all the leaves turn yellow and red, oh so pretty.. And the fact that this is my first time ever to experience Autumn in 4 seasons country excites me more! Another thing that I love about Autumn is the clothes, I really love to score fall/winter collection in my wardrobe since forever ago, well not a lot because I used to live in the hot humid Indonesia.. So when I move to the Netherlands, I have a very limited clothes that are suitable for Autumn temperature.. Thus I need to either buy new clothes or playing mix and match with what I have..

In this post, I chose to style 1 brown coat from Femme Luxe to 3 different looks.. Brown without a doubt is the color of Autumn, very versatile and easy to mix and match.. Plus with this coat, you can wear it just like that and when it cools down, you can close it by tie it at the front..

For the first look, I went for a monochrome look, black and brown is a perfect combination, you couldn’t go wrong with that.. Add some accessories like jewellery or hat (beret, boy cap, or cowboy’s hat) to compliment the look and you are ready to go!

For the second look, when the weather is not so cold, you can pair your brown coat with white T-shirt (or white turtleneck top) and ripped mom jeans to get a street style vibe.. Adding a black belt with gold hardware will also elevate your look..

For the last look, you can wear your brown coat with pieces that has the same family color with brown, such as yellow-red/maroon-orange, or olive-green/dark green.. With that concept, I wore my brown coat with this oversized sweater and to add something extra, I wore them with a maroon knee high boots..

So which one is your favourite look? Tell me in the comment box below 😉
